Following on from last year's well-received event with Edward
Jackson, Sustainable Crediton is delighted to welcome national
expert Edward Mayer of Swift Conservation to share his experiences
of helping reverse declines in Swifts and urban biodiversity more
generally.
Working from the ground upwards, he'll show how consideration
for soil, plants and invertebrate life in our communities are all
vital for success. His focus will be on creating the best
conditions for birds such as Swifts and House Martins to thrive.
However, as he says:
'If it's right for Swifts, it will be right for so many
other species too'.
Join Edward Mayer at 7.00pm for 7.30pm on Thursday 8 May at
Crediton Congregational Church for his fully illustrated and
inspiring talk.
Free admission. Refreshments available from 7.00pm
