We will spin wool, wet felt and needle felt. In addition to art, there are ecological and science aspects that will be explored. This hands-on workshop is perfect for home educating families looking for inspiring activities to fuel project based learning. This series of workshops is designed with the requirements of the Bronze Arts Award in mind. Participation can also contribute towards the skills requirement of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. The cost of this event is for one participant in this workshop. Significant Seams is an Arts Award Centre and can advise and assess a candidate's submission for Arts Award. Optional add-ons for this workshop include a Bronze Award workbook and a package of arts award advising meetings. Assessment is booked separately when a candidate is ready to submit. Enquiries regarding group booking arrangements as well as assessment of Arts Award programmes not delivered via Significant Seams are welcome.
