Fracking is touted as a way to reduce energy prices, hailed as a
transition fuel on the way to low-carbon renewables, and welcomed
as an energy revolution in the US.
But, Simon Tytherleigh of Sustainable Bradninch will ask at
Sustainable Crediton's AGM, is this too good to be true? Could it
be a danger to the environment, and keep us hooked on fossil fuels
and failing to invest in future technologies?
Simon's presentation takes a hard look at all sides of the
argument, and considers fracking in the wider context of our future
energy needs.
The Annual General Meeting, for which you can download the agenda here and the Minutes of the
last AGM here, will follow the fracking talk.
