Report on the Hustings
Around 60 people of all ages attended the hustings at QE
Academy. Glyn Ford of Labour was unable to attend at the last
moment and Lynne Richards, Labour's parliamentary candidate for
Central Devon stood in. The five party members fielded questions
put to them by Sir Neil Butterfield or directly from the floor. The
questions covered a wide range of issues and policies influenced by
the European parliament. The subjects included climate change,
finance, the trans atlantic trade and investment partnership,
agriculture, the Palestine issue and lots more.

either to send them by email to m.baptist@queenelizabeths.devon.sch.uk
or to bring them along by 6.30 p.m. on the evening of the
event."
