A highly appreciative audience in excess of 40 folk had a
wonderfully entertaining evening learning about Gaia Theory. Peter
Horton performed songs, told stories and invited audience
participation to show feats of human prowess during the 90 minute
show which looked at how the dynamic systems of planet Earth
work and evolve and where we as a species really fit in . .
.
Written and performed by Peter Horton, 'Gaia - the Cabaret'
was originally commissioned for James Lovelock's 90th birthday
party in 2009. It has since toured the UK seven times with over 30
performances in venues including the Science Museum, London, the
Cheltenham Science Festival and performances for numerous
Transition Town and environmental groups.
