Sustainable Crediton is runner up in the Community Council for Devon's prestigious Devon Community of the Year Award. We were one of seven communities out of thirty applications. The results were announced at the CCD annual conference on the 28th September at Exeter Racecourse.

Details of the seven shortlisted communities.

The winning community was the Atherington Children's Playing Field who built a community pavilion using only local volunteer labour and money fundraised by themselves over a period of five years.

Dominic Doble and Charles Mossman were present at the event to receive our framed Runners Up certificate.
