Welcome to what is part one of our March newsletter. Time
constraints mean that this edition includes items which won't wait,
and a further edition will follow in a week or so with further news
items.
Most importantly for the long term development of our town, is
the news item about land south of Barnfield and how the Land Use Framework may be applied
to decide upon it's future.
Crediton is seeing significant development at present. Anyone
who has visited any of our neighbouring towns recently - Tiverton,
Okehampton, Cullompton - will appreciate that this will be an
ongoing process. This at a time when the need to balance demand for
housing, economic development, food production and biodiverslty,
all in the context of the climate emergency, has never been more
acute.
To find out more, have your voice heard and get involved, do
come along to the event at the Boniface Centre on 22 March. All
details are in the body of the newsletter.
