Sustainable Crediton newsletter issue 144, May 2023
Welcome to our newsletter for May: and at last it feels like
spring. This is a brief edition as time is short.
We held a very successful AGM on the 10 May, when a number of
people expressed an interest in getting involved in the governance
of Sustainable Crediton. A big thanks to those concerned. Core
Group brought forward a proposal that we should seek to become a
registered charity, which would open new doors for us and give us
greater heft to develop new projects. In that regard, we hope to be
able to make a significant announcement within the near future, so
stay tuned.
In the meantime, do come along to our grand opening of the
Community Larder fridge, and support our amazing Larder Team: see
under Dates for Your Diary for further details
Best wishes,
John Craythorne, on behalf of Sustainable Crediton

“"What is opportunity, and when does it knock?" It never knocks. You can wait a whole lifetime, listening, hoping, and you will hear no knocking. None at all. You are opportunity, and you must knock on the door leading to your destiny. You prepare yourself to recognize opportunity, to pursue and seize opportunity as you develop the strength of your personality, and build a self-image with which you are able to live, with your self-respect alive and growing.”
Maxwell Maltz (US plastic surgeon, motivational author, and creator of Psycho-Cybernetics)
