Welcome!
Summer is winding down, but Sustainable Crediton is really busy.
Read about our two big upcoming events; the Green Fair in the
Square on 25th September and our post lockdown relaunch and AGM at
the Boniface Centre on 2nd October.
We will be at full stretch organising and setting up for these
two days. We could especially do with some help in setting up and
taking down in the Square on 25th September. If you can lend a
hand, drop us an email, or just turn up on the day from 9am if you
find yourself free.
These events feel quite pivotal for us, being at a point where
we really do need more members to come forward and take an active
role in Sustainable Crediton. So have a think about it, then do
it!
I'm pleased to publish an interesting piece about the water
quality of our local river system and how volunteers can take part
in monitoring and reporting on it. Thanks to Sue Rowell, a new
contributer, for this. Sue says she is happy to take anyone out for
a sampling demo if they would like. If you want to take up this
offer, email us and we will pass on your details to Sue.
Is there an issue you feel especially passionate about? If so,
write and tell us so we can include in a future newsletter.
Best wishes all,
John Craythorne, for Sustainable Crediton
