Welcome once again to our newsletter. It's a brief one this
time, though there are many events listed in a packed diary. Have a
look through and get involved: there's something for everybody!
The Town Council's Climate Change and Sustainability
Sub-Committee has further meetings scheduled. Do try and get along
to at least one of them to see what is being planned and have your
say.
Our own Woodland Management Group is in full swing and is now
offering Sunday dates in February and March, for those who would
like to get involved.
Our Pollinator Project is well placed to expand its activities
in 2020, with supporting funding available: come and join us!
The Friends of Crediton Library are starting to hold
'Sustainable Sunday' events at the library: see under Regular
Events. The first such get-together is on Sunday 19th of January,
then every third Sunday thereafter. This is a great chance to meet
up with others and share ideas over a bite to eat.
It can be hard to get motivated in the dark days of winter, but
perhaps that makes it an especially good time to get actively
involved with Sustainable Crediton. As always, we can only do what
our members are up for.
Best wishes to all,
John Craythorne, newsletter editor on behalf of Sustainable
Crediton
