Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 104

Welcome to the newsletter. It's a great June here in Crediton, regardless of the somewhat soggy weather! Sustainable Crediton has held two events so far, The Clothes Swap and stall at the Picnic in the Park.

Crediton Festival is in full swing, with events coming thick and fast. Don't forget to take time out to have some fun, meet up with and make friends, and support the many brilliant happenings which are taking place. Check the Festival programme here.

Time too, to support the Chamber of Commerce's Totally Local initiative. We are so lucky to have a great range of local shops giving friendly personal service and selling high quality, often locally produced goods. Great too for avoiding plastic packaging and buying just what you need rather than prepackaged excess. And it keeps our pounds in the local Crediton economy. Last but no means least, shopping becomes an enjoyable, social activity instead of just a chore. So many wins!

Best wishes,

John Craythorne, on behalf of Sustainable Crediton
