Now in its 10th year and growing in popularity every year, is
our Seed Swap. It is taking place this coming Saturday, 24th
February from 11am to 2pm in its new venue, the Boniface
Centre.
The event promises to be even bigger and better than its
predecessors. The aim is to encourage people to enjoy growing and
eating their own produce, and living sustainably.
Seed Swap organiser Dee Ross explains "Moving to a new venue
gives us the chance to welcome more stallholders and
demonstrations. This year we are especially welcoming families.
There will be childrens crafts and growing activities, music from
the Woodman band, and tasty home-made soup from surplus food
donated by local businesses."
There will also be the usual seeds and plants to share for free.
information on composting, beekeeping, Crediton Pig Club, and
growing your own, as well as demonstrations, home-made cakes and
plenty more.
Entry is free and we hope that you will come along and support
our Food Group who are organising the event.
