Welcome to June's newsletter. There is lots going on in Crediton
this month...
The Give and Take event is taking place
today at the Methodist Church Hall from 10am to 4pm until Saturday
3rd June. Tea, coffee & cakes will be served all day so do come
along - you may even find yourself a bargain!
The 2017 General Election Hustings are
taking place in QE School Drama Hall, Western Road on Monday 5th
June. Doors will open at 6pm with refreshments available. Please be
in your seats by 6:30pm for a prompt 6:45pm start. All six
candidates will be present to answer your questions. Sustainable
Crediton members are asked to send their questions on any topic
including of course the environment to Mark
Baptist by Friday 2nd June for consideration.
Credfest 2017 is happening throughout the
month. The environment is featured at three events : Landscore Sustainablity Open Day on the 16th
June and a performance of our Song for Sustainable Crediton on the 22nd June.
Our Waste Action Group will be carrying out recycling during the
Food Festival.
Finally, under the offers section of our vitual
Marketplace, there is a mound of horse manure available free of
charge.
