Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 71
Our big event this month, the EU Referendum
Debate, is taking place on Monday 6th June at QE Upper School
at 7:30pm. Rather than making this a political event we want
to focus on the implications of staying in or coming out of the EU
from a local perspective. Speakers are: Mary Quicke on Farming, Sam
Robbins on Economics, David Jaques on Local Business, Mike Birkin
(from Friends of the Earth) on the Environment. All the speakers
are very knowledgeable about the area they are addressing. There will be plenty of time for debate
and discussion!
Do come along. It's free and no need to book.

“The line between failure and success is so fine that we are often on the line and do not know it. How many a man has thrown up his hands at a time when a little more effort, a little more patience, would have achieved success.”
