Sustainable Crediton's Give and Take
Shop Pops Up Again this Wednesday
By public demand the Give and Take Shop returns for 6 days starting
this week but at a new venue, ReFurnish, next door to Morrisons. It
will be open in the old pine stripping shed Wednesday to Friday
from 10am to 4pm on October 21st to 23rd and October 28th to
30th.
On Wednesday 21st October at 7:30pm at Queen Elizabeths
Community College (Upper School) there will be presentations from
Jane Barham who has worked in a Syrian refugee camp and David
Mezzetti who is a Trustee for Refugee Support Devon. The meeting
will focus on what is going on internationally but also what can be
done locally to support refugees and asylum seekers who come to
Exeter and Mid Devon. Also on what advocacy and lobbying
might be helpful. There will be opportunities for questions and
stalls displaying some of the work of the groups involved.
Hope you can support us at these events.
Thanks
Charles Mossman
