Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 56

Well, our Pop Up Give and Take Shop in Crediton popped up on 6th Feb and then disappeared for the final time on Saturday afternoon 21st Feb. It was hard work but a phenomenal success with over 7,700 people coming through our doors in the 14 days we were open and over 7,000kg of goods finding good new homes!! Read more below.

Following on, on the day the Pop Up Shop was closing, was the Seed Share, held in the Old Town Hall. Dee Ross, the organiser, said that this year's event, the 5th, was the best ever. Read more below.

Looking forward to March, on the 25th March we are taking part in the Crediton & District Voluntary Groups Forum at the Meadow Suite, Lords Meadow Leisure Centre from 1 to 4 pm. Get advice and support on all aspects of finding and supporting volunteers, and network with others with similar interests and needs.

On the 28th March we have our second waste plastic collection of the year at Peck & Strong, Lords Meadow from 10am to 12:30pm.
