Is Sustainable Crediton On the Right Track? Are we being
effective in what we do? What do you think? Do you have ideas
for future projects that could make a real difference?
Sustainable Crediton needs your input to shape and influence
our direction over the next five years.
Please join us at our "Back
to the Future" Day Saturday 25 January at the Boniface Centre,
Crediton from 10am to 2pm.
The day promises to be an exciting blend of information and
ideas. Chris Bird from Transition Town Totnes, a permaculturist who
has been working in Cuba this winter, will open proceedings by
inspiring us with a short talk connecting us to the bigger picture
in creating a more sustainable world.
This will be followed by a look back at Sustainable
Crediton's aims and achievements since 2009 and a brainstorm to
shape our policy and actions for the next five years. This will be
your opportunity to influence what Sustainable Crediton does over
the next few years.
The event will end with a hot lunch with a chicken dish and a
veggie alternative with crusty bread and salad plus yummy apple
crumble and custard. This will allow lots of time to discuss the
ideas raised informally and to socialise.
We would love you to be there so if you can come, please let us
know at info@sustainablecrediton.org.uk by
20th January as we need numbers for catering. Lunch, is
optional and subsidised, so costs only £3.
There will be an unsupervised children's corner.
Looking forward to seeing you.
