Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 53
As the end of 2014 is approaching rapidly, our thoughts
naturally turn to seasonal celebrations. Look out for our Christmas
Tree at the Christmas Tree Festival in
Holy Cross Church from the 4th to 7th December. Our
tree has the theme "Waste in Wonderland" as the decorations
will be made from waste plastic.
Thinking about Christmas shopping, it is Small
Business Saturday on the 6th December. Please support our local
small businesses in Crediton including Crediton Community Bookshop
and your local village shops.
We already are organising some great events for 2015 including
another of our successful plastics
collection days on the 31st January, a Pop Up
Shop in the old Gees store opposite Boots on Crediton High
Street from the 6th to 21st February, and the annual Seed
Share also on the 21st February.
The Sustainable Crediton Core Group would like to wish everyone
reading this a wonderful festive season
