Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 37

Welcome to the August Sustainable Crediton Newsletter. Whilst August is usually a quiet month for our activities as our groups tend to have a well earned rest, this month we have several events. Our Meditation Group is starting a new course on the Seven Chakras from the 7th August. On the 10th August from 10am we have another Community Market with the Energy Group hosting the Sustainable Crediton stall. Please complete our renewable energy survey and take away a free shower saver or TV standby powerdown. On the 21st August the Transport Group's bike bus leaves St Lawrence Green at 7pm, picking up cyclists at 7:05 at Town Square and 7:15 at 26 Old Tiverton Road. Cycle to the Beer Engine and return by bike or catch the train home at 21:07.

Please put 7pm on 25th September at the Boniface Centre in your diaries for our talks on Cutting your heating bills this winter. Satish Kumar's son, Mukti Mitchell will be speaking about his round Britain sailing trip in his low carbon micro-yacht and how to go about insulating your home for the winter. Also on the bill will be draught buster Brian Harper explaining how to draught proof your home.
