Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 31

2013 has got off to a really positive start! Leaflet drops at railway stations, a meeting with the CEO of Mid Devon District Council, a well attended film night, half a tonne of waste plastic collected ,several of our groups planning work for the coming months and much more. Read all about it in the newsletter.

There are two major Sustainable Crediton events taking place in February and on behalf of the organisers I would like to personally invite you to attend. Firstly on Wednesday the 20th at 7:30pm at the Boniface Centre we have a fascinating talk by Simon Tytherleigh entitled 'Shrinking the giant hamster: how we can be better off without growth.' The event is free and tea/coffee and biscuits will be available.

Then on Saturday the 23rd we have the Crediton Seed Swap from 11am to 2pm at the Old Town Hall. This year is better than ever.  In addition to trying the seeds, come and find out about Seed Saving, Bee Keeping and  Composting. Visit our stalls - Once Read Bookstall, Devon Wildlife Trust, Wood Fuel from Hedgerows Group, Orchards Live, plants, raffle and have a luscious homemade lunch.
