Sustainable Crediton Newsletter Issue 23

Hello Sustainable Crediton supporters,

It is April already. How the year is flying past. Sustainable Crediton is now over 5 years old and our annual summer events such as the Community Markets in Town Square are beginning to appear in the diary once again.

If you are interested in growing food, or even just eating it, the Food Group are holding an event to suit you this month. Full details are below as are reports on our recent AGM and on two interesting local events attended by Sus Cred members last month, harvesting firewood from hedges and the Green Vehicle Show. In fact reading through this newsletter you get a good impression of the range of sustainability issues that Sus Cred members are interested in, which I think gives real promise for the future of our community.

And what about those of you who want to make a difference but have little time? Well a few clicks with your mouse this month and you can make your views known on wind power in North Devon and oil drilling in the arctic. In fact there is something for everyone, so I urge you to spend a few minutes reading on:-

Paula Mossman, Newsletter Editor.
