CCA Newsletter Issue 29

Photograph of a presentation at the Transition Network Conference

Hi Everyone,

Another month has passed and here is another newsletter. Each time I write one I am reminded that in March 2009 we were warned by eminent scientists that we have no more than 100 months to get CO2 emissions under control world wide before climate change becomes unstoppable and irreversible. I have written 29 newsletters. This means that in only a little more than 3 times the number of months this newsletter has been circulating it could be too late to stop climate change that could mean the ultimate demise of humanity. Its a sobering thought. I emphasise it here because the CCA Core Group are asking everyone reading this to support us in an event in October that could finally make the politicians sit up and listen to the views on climate change of ordinary people like us. Please read on below and get the date in your diary now and commit to taking part in some way. Thank you.

Paula
