Quality pork from field to plate
Would you like to get involved in the local
raising of quality pork straight to your freezer?
The Crediton Pig Club aims to support native pig breeds and
ensure excellent welfare for the animals. Crediton Pig Club,
founded in 2016, brings together smallholders and pork-lovers to
raise and consume high-welfare, local pork. Members can sign up for
a half or a quarter share, and have the opportunity to be involved
in caring for the pigs, and to participate in social events, and
workshops on curing, smoking, sausage-making, etc.
Come along to the meeting on 14 January 2019 to become involved
in this year's club, or contact the Pig Club via Suscred's food
group.
